Nope, it is not easy keeping four kids in one line...HA! but wouldn't want it any other way.
I take photos as a return ticket to a moment otherwise gone.

I have to admit, I like teenagers more and more. Maybe its because my kids are getting to that stage in life and I have no choice. Sometimes I feel like grabbing them by the shoulders and try to tell them everything I know under two minutes. EVERYTHING about pain, sadness, joy, defeat, pride, how to move on, how to handle conflicts and how to be humble. This beautiful senior didn't have it easy since they just moved to Germany. I know, I have been there, this is my fourth country and it wasn't always easy. But dear, I've got one thing to say: you re going to be much richer because you have gone through this. You are going to be more experienced, more open, more flexible and easy to get along with, just to name a few.
So here to celebrate another beautiful jewel ready to conquer the world! You go and show it to them all!
p.s. we had the German version of hurricane Irma....not really...but it was crazy windy out there :)
I know I keep repeating myself BUT I know that one day you will thank me, or yourself or whoever pushed you to get a session. One day, your kids will have a book in their hands to flip through and smile. To remember the wonderful times you had together as a family.
Don't take any day for granted. Enjoy every moment and make sure that the memory stays alive!
If you know me then you also know how I am not a big fan of adding in fake skies with Photoshop. Its ok if others do it, but I just like to document what I see. So it is no wonder that when the sky is brewing some water and thunder and who knows what else then I am ready to get out there! Oh do I love dramatic skies!!! And here we are, running around and enjoying the little bit of sun rays that were stored up in the flowers. Nothing represents summer for me more than sunflowers and DRAMATIC skies!

I have no big story to write about...just a little moment I was able to catch as my son picked up this little pup from one of our church members during a church picnic.
Seriously, how sweet is that little pup!
Its these moments your children will cherish forever. One day, they will be adults and most probably will have children of their own. And trust me, they will want to remember the days when all was just simply perfect. No worries, no struggles, no competitions...just life simplified. They will not care about your weight, your hair or if you are wearing airbrushed make up, they will only see the smile on your face while you hugged them, that you sat down and played with them, the life within you, the tender little nose kisses, being thrown up in the air and chased with a grasshopper. It might not be so special now but one day it will mean the world to them.
