Sunrise in Idstein

It was a perfect crisp fall morning with the sun just peeking through the horizon. Idstein is such an amazing perfect fairytale town that it is really hard not to photograph every single doorway and arch and what not. Lovely place for sure!!!

Love beyond measure

It is amazing how just a week ago I asked you all what it is that you wish you had more images of. So many of you responded: more of family and older generations who are no longer there.

I believe everything happens for a reason. And just then, I urgently had to fly back home (to Budapest) in order to see my Mom who is not doing so well ( gently said).

The images? they are not high quality, simple phone pictures that either my sister took as I crawled into my Mom’s hospital bed or I took as a “selfie”. These pictures are taken after I got off the plane and trotted through the city in 36 degrees (celsius), all sweated. Went directly to hospital with luggage and all. No make up. No preparations. No set up. Only true emotions. As real as it gets.

My friends, life is too precious and way too short. Forgive always, do whatever you can to show grace and love unconditionally, nothing else matters.

And of course, it wouldn’t be me if I wouldn’t say, take lots of pictures. EVERY image is a treasure for life.

Wedding of Denise and Heiko

The Wedding of Denise and Heiko was exceptional not only because of its location but also because of all the people. It took place in the castle of Weinheim, amazing building, amazing view and you got a feeling of participating in the wedding of a prince and princess. The unique atmosphere was also felt from the guests and family from several different nations, Heiko and I were joking that he has more than I had at my wedding (I had people from 7 different countries) and I think he won with guests from about 11 nations!

And my goodness, did we have some crazy weather. We had everything from STRONG sunshine to heavy rain and everything in between.

Downtown Wiesbaden

It has become a tradition that I offer a so called “Goodbye Germany” session and more specifically Wiesbaden. Of course, these are always bitter sweet but love to hear each and every families’ story.

This donut was seriously the best idea ever! It wasn't too big, to messy, not much cake is wasted, fit perfectly in his little hands and he was the happiest little camper!

Home sweet home...moving around the world

I have moved around all my life so I sort of understand what it is like to be moving around as well. In a way, it never gets easy but in a way it does. It's always hard to say goodbye but it sure is satisfying and somehow exciting to be able start new. Well, dear family L. I wish you a great start in your "new-old" home and a smooth transition. 

Goodbye Wiesbaden

One last time we walked through the city of Wiesbaden and enjoyed the rising sun through an empty city with all its beauty and treasures. Good memories to remember a lifetime!
